I've renamed the firmware as MSI.ROM and used the same usb as I had used originally on the board to make it compatible with the 5600x.Īny ideas. I have formatted the usb drive and set it to mbr. The memory stick seems not be getting read. Everytime I get the flashing flash led blink for about 5 seconds, then the pc fans come on and then flashing led increases speed but no reset nor anything else happens. Then why allow it? Anyway, I have since tried flashing with the beta version, the one before, and the one before that, all three with and without all hardware attached. Only after it power cycled my machine and left it not booting, have I researched the forums and found it to not be advisable. I rather foolishly thought upgrading the bios through dragon center would be ok. Has anyone had their motherboard ez CPU led remain on with no boot screen or bios post following a bios upgrade through Dragon Center?
